2. Services and Estimates
Cartwright Construction LLC provides residential construction (barndominium homes, garages, shops, and garage apartments), framing and structural work, finish carpentry, remodeling, and related services. Published model prices apply to the stated base scope and assumptions. After the plans, selections, property conditions, and project-specific requirements are reviewed, the signed agreement identifies the fixed contract price, allowances, add-ons, and exclusions. Land, well, septic, grading, fill, gravel access, driveway work, utility extensions, unusual soil conditions, rock removal, and other site work are priced separately when applicable. An online request is a request for project review. A binding construction agreement exists after both parties sign it.
3. Warranties and Workmanship
Every new construction agreement includes our 10-Year Limited Workmanship and Structural Warranty. For ten years from substantial completion, covered work is warranted to conform to the signed contract, plans, specifications, approved change orders, applicable building codes in effect for the issued permit, and accepted trade standards. Covered work means work performed by Cartwright Construction or our subcontractors within the signed scope, including nonstructural workmanship, structural work, and installation workmanship for building systems. Manufacturer product warranties apply separately, while our installation workmanship remains covered. The signed agreement states the exclusions, remedies, notice process, service procedure, and one-time transfer terms and controls the project.
